The apigear command line tool supports all features of the ApiGear platform. It can be used to manage SDKs from APIs, monitor API traffic and simulate API calls. It is the main tool to interact with the ApiGear platform and well suited for developers and CI/CD pipelines.

The generate command is used to generate code from a API description. The generation is based on SDK templates which are available from a central registry.

API Monitoring is a feature that allows you to monitor the behavior of an API. This is useful for testing, demonstration, and development. It decouples the interface implementation from the interface users.

API Simulation is a feature that allows you to simulate the behavior of an API. This is useful for testing, demonstration, and development. It decouples the interface implementation from the interface users.
📄️ SDK Templates
The CLI allows you to fully manage the SDK templates. You can install, update and remove templates. The templates are stored in a local folder on your drive. The default location is ~/.apigear/templates. You can change the location using the APIGEAR_TEMPLATES environment variable.
📄️ Project Management
The project command allows you to manage your projects. Projects are a collection of APIs and SDKs. You can create, list, delete and switch between projects.
